It’s 2009 and I have left quite a large amount of space in my hard drive, SD card and my brain for more unforgettable moments to store this year.
And because I’m expecting yet more moments to capture this year, I’ll have to give off these little unforgettable things to give room for some more.

Oh well, at least my blog would remember these. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Then suddenly, another classmate butted in,
“Why do you blog? You’re not even a celebrity”
I was surprised. I didn’t have anything to answer him. But my friend did the talking,
“You’re just a sore loser ‘coz you don’t have a blog and you don’t know how to make one!”
So why do I blog, anyway?
1. I blog because if I write on a diary or a journal, I’d look like a girl. Besides, a laptop would look more masculine. Haha!
2. I blog because I don’t have that overly-close friend to share anything with.
3. I blog because I want to share everything I know to everybody and not just to my brother (which I think, is starting to get fed up with all those things I say. It doesn’t even interest him, anyway).
4. I blog because it’s nice to know that quite a few people is reading and is interested in me.
5. I blog because I get to send news to my mother who’s far far away.
6. I blog because nobody in my class does.
7. I blog because I want my name on the search engines (LOL).
8. I blog because I love to write.
9. I blog because there’s nothing else to do on the internet.
10. And finally, I blog because it’s here that I get to meet people who interest me. Whenever I blog, I feel that I’m surrounded by very smart people who are always eager to share what they know to me and eventually, I get to share it to my friends and I amaze them with what I know. This is what I really love about blogging. It makes me look very smart in the real world.
What about you? Why do you blog?
Yesterday, December 28, 2008, Allen was reported to have been missing from his trip to Mt. Makiling. On that same day, people from select cities all over the world is celebrating the feast of the Holy Innocents, considered by many as December’s April Fool’s Day.
Yes, you have been fooled. Now Allen wants to greet you a Happy Innocent’s Day!
Haha! Hi guys! Please, don’t raise your eyebrows on me. It’s how I do pranks to big people. Haha! I was planning this for over a day and yes, my plan has worked. Actually, I was just busy eating all day because it was my brother’s birthday. It was all a joke. Don’t get mad at me, okay? Pranks are LEGAL on an Innocent’s Day.
At least, now I know how you all love me. *tears*
Thanks by the way, to everyone who have sent their comments, reactions, worries and phone calls which I regretfully tried to ignore. It’ll ruin the plan if I answered it.
So I want to greet these guys a Happy Innocent’s Day and say, “YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLED!”:
To Kuya Antonio, who was said to have been really worried and even reposted my previous article in his blog.
To Prosetitute, who even called which made me activate my call barring service for the rest of the day.
To Ate Chyng, who was the first one to give comments on my previous article.
To JL Gazo, who also gave his comments and reposted the article on his blog. By the way, this is my first time to have seen you here. How long have you been reading my blog dude? Thanks!^^,
To Jill, who also gave a comment,
To Dong Ho and BertN, who gave their say at Kuya Ton’s repost.
To Jervyn, who also left a message at my shoutbox.
And to everyone, who have stumbled on my blog out of curiosity, YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLED!
But then again, I love you guys for that. Thanks for the concern, I really am touched. I’m safe and sound. Don’t you worry about me. ^^,
Good day!
December 28, 2008
Dear friends of Allen,
Good day. This is Allen’s brother, Wilson. Yesterday, Allen went off to Mt. Makiling with his friends for a 1-day picnic. They were supposed to be back before dusk. By 7:00 P.M., they weren’t back yet so we tried to contact their tour guide in Laguna.
At exactly 10:00 P.M., the rescue team formed by the concerned people of Laguna went off to search for them. The search was temporarily halted at around 3:00 A.M. this morning and were officially declared missing.
If by chance you’d know his whereabouts, please do let us know. We are really worried.
Ipagdasal po natin na OK lang sila.
Sincerely,
Wilson
I’ve never seen the Philippine malls so crowded before. Is this how Filipinos shop? They seem tohave drained all their funds down amidst all this crisis. Oh my god.

But something caught my attention as I was busy observing how many plastic bags a day were being given to customers at the malls. There was this one woman with her three children at the playground who were trying to get a go on the rides and arcade games. However, I noticed that the woman (in her late forties, I guess), did not have the tokens for the ride, so she just let her children sit at the arcade and look excitedly at the screen as if their mother would chuck in some coins and make the whole thing work. But then again, I pity the mother more because I know it’s much much harder for her to just see her children stare and never get the chance to play with the thing.
I really wanted to give my barya (coins) but I wasn’t sure if it would help. Yes, the children would be happy about it but I’m sure the mother would feel the guilt of not being able to afford an arcade game.
Truly, for us, Christmas is the time when we become abundant with things and food, but not everyone enjoys this privilege in life. As we eat tonight on our sumptuous feasts, let’s think about the less-fortunate who may be dreaming of a ham or queso de bola on their bellies.
Though we can’t ease their hunger at this moment, let us just eat on their behalf (okay, this may sound a bit ridiculous). Don’t waste anything because not everyone has it on their tables.
Actually, as I am writing this entry, I’m eating my fourth serving of spare ribs. And I’m planning for more. Ha!
Let me take this opportunity as well, to thank a few people who have made my Christmas season very enjoyable.
Thanks to my mother for everything, who’s very happy about the news that I am not yet ready to disclose.
To my uncle, who gave me a new pair of boxer shorts, Haha!
To my brother, who didn’t give me anything yet (he promised he’s going to give me a present tomorrow).
And to you, my fellow bloggers, for making my blogging very interesting and for sharing so many ideas that I am very fortunate to have used in my everyday life. A very happy Christmas to all of us in the blogosphere.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
